One Journey Lived Twice!

Twice, they actually met
The first time, introduced
Having a circle of friends
Second when one's eyes
Captivated by the other's
No more meetings demanded!

Twice, there was intoxication
First, when he selected formals
Wore the tux with a red tie
Second, when she appeared
Wearing same color saree
The attire, he just dreamed about!

Twice, everything was perfect
First, when they moved on
And left their past behind
Second, over the future
Present was chosen
It was all so beautifully right!

Twice, were they happiest
First, in the ceremony
Which bound them together
Second, when they shared it
By bringing into the world
Two adorable new lives!

Twice, they were rebellious
First, when they had convinced
Two familes to accept them
Second, when they fought
To fulfill all the wishes, dreams
Their children ever saw!

Twice, felt their true love
First, time he lively sang
As she danced to his tunes
And the last time,
Alongwith pain & despair
When one had to pull the plug off!

1️⃣ LittleLoveLullaby

*Maybe it's not about the happy ending, maybe it's about the story.
And they are really happy with their respective ones...*

...Their love was eternal
Far away, yet together
'One' stayed as a character,
In all the books written
'Other' hidden forever
In the lyrics of the songs...

#There are love stories
Both sided, but either
Things don't work out or
Those "two" remain unaware
& then there are friends
Good ones, who either
Try to get them along or
Narrate their story in the future!#

2️⃣ Aaj mera shayari mood😃

Gharwalon ka mashwara tha
Dono mile, jaan pehchaan karlen
Par uss pehli mulaqaat ki sadaqat
Aankhein kya ladi, haya hi kho gayi
Hawa me dilkashi si chhaayi
Dono ki nigaahein jab takrayi
Wo jo ab tak bhaag raha tha
Na chahte hue unme kaid ho gya
Aur jiske pas mauka tha
Wo chahkar bhi faraar na ho saki
Wafa toh do tarfa honi hi thi
Par wo mohabbat hi kya
Jisme koi ilhaam na ho
Ab teen dafa khane ka shauk kahan
Jo roza rakhke iftaar me tha maza
Ishq se badhkar junoon tha sawaar
Insaan nhi, khuda ki razamandi thi unpar
Ek taraf janaab khayalon me mashroof
Rehte the bekhabar iss qadar
Wo uski khushboo thi
Ya uski aqeedat, jo jaan lene lagi
Dusri aur wo dua karti rahi
Usse ab mile wahi, aur koi nahi
Apni hadd se wakif the dono
Faasley kam hone lage
Par jo bhi tha unke darmiyaan
Sab kuch ek daayre me
Qasoor kisi ka nahi, apne sapne
Khud jeene ki khwahish rakhte the
Bas duniya ke rasmo rivaazon me
Unse ho gya tha gunaah jaise
Itni shiddat dekhkar hui sabko hairani
Aur logon ko manzoor nahi hua
Isliye wo bhi bankar reh gaye ek kahani...

Their First...

With my fragile heart, don't you play
Oh dear, love me some shades of grey..
A dark abyss, endless night
Everything was perfect, beautifully right
Watching her smile he realised now
She was more adorable, on the left somehow
His lips lied but the only thing he wished,
Stare those cute dimples & mesmerising eyes
Unaware he was, she struggled as well
Difficult to hide, feelings she could not tell
How much she resisted his scent
Every time the wind blew
His breath, passionate voice into her ears
For it made her heart skip a beat or two!
With my fragile heart, don't you play
Oh dear, just love me some shades of grey..
Slightly through the curtains, daylight seeped in
With a new beginning, bright morning came
In their minds both wondering the same
No touching, it was their first night together
Yet the two hearts connected forever!

Weird Friendships...

Together or not, till the very end
Where we never forget that friend
Who spoke behind our back
But never lied to our face
Made fun of everything
Still cried along, helping find solace
Though blaming all the failures
Standing proud during the achievements
Leaving behind so many times
Comes back crawling to make amends
Not present on our happiest day
But there, before our eyes give tears their way
At night making us lose hope
Morning, first one to boost in the confidence
Forcing into the first alcohol experience someday
Next day gives lecture on forbiddance
No where around when we fall in love
Still cheering us up during break ups
Yes we all have such weird friendships
Matter of time to realise
And hold on to them
Cherishing as life's bizarre prize!

1️⃣ Aaj mera shayari mood😃

Kuch ankahe se lafz
Hothon par hain ruke
Waqt badal raha hai
Kuch wahin tham gaye
Wo ajnabi si ek kashish
Jo hai unke darmiyaan
Waqif hote hue bhi
Ban rahe hain anjaan
Jo faasley hain bhad rahe
Khamoshi me tabdeel na ho
Khuddari me is qadar mashruf
Ke fir yaadein bhi naseeb na ho...

As strangers we met, as strangers we left!

I woke up early that day though I actually never slept through the night. But it was going to be a hectic one, I had a train to catch in the noon and it was raining outside, heavily, umbrella was of no use so I was wondering to self, I would be spared if only the cab could pick me up from my hostel room not even the gate!

After going through the jamming streets of Kolkata (the city I love actually) I reached the station, with drenched clothes, exhaustively heavy luggage and then finally to my train. There, my angry face came out, furious at my brother for the seats he had booked, in 3AC coach that too side upper! The seat I hated the most (then), actually I already knew, but we are humans bound to overreact at times. I brought my laptop fully charged, carried an extra cell phone in case my lumia battery dies, lets just say I was fully prepared, yet I was sure it was some kind of revenge from him, on top of it came my co-passenger allotted the lower birth. A young man(Mr. X for later references), in his early 30's with a ring in his hand so definitely married, I sighed because I was wondering to lure him into exchanging the seats. I prefer lower seats, it's not that I can't climb up but I stumble so don't feel like becoming a clown for people to laugh at. (Hide that grin I know you want to laugh too).

I am a talker though not with strangers but Mr. X suddenly started talking and to my surprise that conversation we had led to some deep meaningful talks. Our neighbours joined us as well. A politician travelling along giving his high value lectures was interrupted too by Mr. X with a question..Do you like black colour? Everyone replied with a YES! I myself added black is a dominating colour. To which his next question came..Do you like black complexion? Well..to be honest even I took a pause before answering, leave the rest. I was not about the colour but simply how do people really think.

Next he picked up a topic about NaMo (Ab ki baar, Modi sarkaar) how he his doing brilliant work and would flourish one day. Just as I was about to put on my earphones to leave the discussion he stopped me, I told him I am not a politics fan. To which he scolded me, YES, literally scolded, he said most of the people are living the definition of 'I Me Myself' no one wants to talk about 'Our We Us', if the youth won't take interest in such matters how does one expect India to become a developed nation, after all it's for the betterment of "Our" country. He mentioned a statement Modi Ji quoted..If you ask someone about that story of a glass half-full/half-empty, you can differentiate between an optimist & a pessimist, but he added a point to it, that the glass is completely full..half with water and half with moisture or air. We all need to have such positive approach in our lives, good hopes and faith!

We had a lot of talks that day if I start thinking deep I won't stop typing. Personally, I myself realised something that day..its easy to blame others but one doesn’t think to improve self or take up a stand for something he needs a change for, and if you think hard 'It's True'...

Slowly the train came to a halt, that was it, We both met as strangers, no details exchanged but only words. Words which meant a lot and on completing our 21hr journey (including approx 16hrs of conversations) We again left as strangers...

When we have to choose...

There are times in our lives when we have to choose, maybe between someone or a decision has to be made, what do we do then, how do we think?? Should one opt looking for benefit? Or should one sacrifice? Or should one try to be wise, harsh but still wise, keeping little bit of the future in mind and decide. Finally decide!  A short verse below...

Everyday was splendid until the fall came
Suddenly to them she was a trophy of fame
Both quarrelling, She will be mine!
She being righteous, at the same time
Lost her true love & best friend
Those silent tears & broken hearts never met amends!

Her dissolving feelings...

Time had passed, on him she had no affect
Even after signals she gave nothing would reflect
Because of the culture and society she could not
Sometimes when with someone else she would not
Say or do anything
Definitely not love she was sure
Just meant something her intentions being pure
Maybe just attracted to his nature and personality
And knew together they would stand no where in reality
Day after day, they would meet and talk
But still about her his mind was block
All she wanted was him to realize
He had one more admirer in his life
She had to fade away without his attention
Her grief neither noticed nor mentioned...

Seasons Of love...

In the scorching heat
With sunburns all over,
I thought of you
And your cold heart!
Standing in the rains
Shivering, all drenched,
I thought of you
And your gifted tears!
Watching the leaves fall
Agony that tree felt,
I thought of you
And your parting glance!
On a freezing night
In front of the fireplace,
I thought of you
And your deceitful vows!
Striving to rise above
Moving on with life,
I thought of you
And your fading affection!
On the path of success
Achieving heights, happiness,
No more thoughts of you
OR your frail love!

A Photographer & his love affair
Famous from high mountains to a tiny fly
Capturing different memories everywhere
Above or below the azure sky
Art of knowing the highlighted hues
Making the mesmerizing effects alive
Expressions are felt, like a fresh drop of dew
Subtleness of picture, the viewer has to derive
When words are silent & lips are sealed
Evanescence of moments happening with time
Going through the reel, all will be revealed
Voila! a snapshot must be there, always to remind...

Survival of the fittest!

Things shatter right infront of our eyes
We may lose something or someone
Maybe whom we trusted was all lies
Or we did what can't be undone
But how to prevent it all..
How to suvive that fall..
Is it possible to forget..
Or to move on..
Does anyone care..
Or are we just on our own..
Little hope to which we cling on
That strength buried deep down
One has to get up and rise
Else in a healthy body somewhere he dies
Only the brave one who has faced it all
Is the one who survives the fall
Toughest of situations make us strong
Making us realise where we belong
Good or bad, moments are in full stock
Time goes on, won't ever stop
This life will never freeze
Till the last breath we breathe
Light will overcome darkness, wounds will heal
Dont be cold move forward with zeal
Have courage, be honest & do your best
Remember in the end its always-Survival of the fittest!
